HI, I'M ERIN.
You probably have no idea how to pronounce my last name—it's "Mel-brook."
If my career has a throughline, it’s “use your powers for good.” As a creative and a writer, I’m well aware of the potential impact of my work and do my best to leave a positive one.
Need a copywriter? Let’s chat. I’ve worked both agency side and brand side, picking up skills like campaign concepting, brand voice development, product naming, webpage writing, and (of course) headline writing along the way.
I’ve spent the past few years at the intersection of healthcare and tech, taking my human-centered approach to copywriting and using it to make healthcare more approachable (and less stressful), keep members engaged + informed on their health, introduce new innovative products + features, and inspire benefits leaders to invest in the health of their workforce.
Before that, I was a freelance copywriter for about three years, working quick stints and months-long contracts at agencies like Decoded, Javelin, and Happylucky and in-house at companies like TOMS, The Honest Company, and Tender Greens. That period of my career has helped me build a skillset beyond that of a typical agency copywriter, picking up a little UX writing, content strategy, social copywriting, and blog writing along the way.
And before that, I hustled, concepted, and pitched new business as a jr copywriter at Zambezi — working on brands like The Venetian, Kelley Blue Book, Taylormade, and Hubert’s Lemonade.
